ConnectionCleanup

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

ConnectionCleanup is built so that we handle as little of your data as possible. This policy describes exactly what we collect, what we deliberately do not collect, and your rights.

Your LinkedIn export: processed in your browser, never uploaded

The Connections.csv file you analyze, which contains personal data about your connections (names, companies, titles, profile URLs, and sometimes email addresses), is parsed and analyzed entirely in your web browser. It is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. We cannot see it, and no copy exists anywhere we control.

What we do collect

What we never do

Data retention and deletion

Payment records are retained as required for tax and accounting law. Everything else you can delete yourself, instantly, in the app. To request deletion of payment/support records or to exercise rights under GDPR or CCPA (access, correction, deletion, portability), email support@connectioncleanup.com. We respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we ever change how data is handled (in particular, if any feature would require server-side processing of export data) we will update this policy and clearly flag the change in the product before it takes effect.
