Over 3,000 users keep their networks sharp with ConnectionCleanup
✓Processed entirely in your browser. Your connections' data never reaches our servers.
✓Super safe: the tools that get accounts banned automate clicks. We never touch LinkedIn's site.
✓30-day refund on every plan, valid until your first upload.
How it works
Three steps. No gray areas.
Import your data
Grab LinkedIn's official export of your connections in a few clicks (we show you exactly where). We'll even email you a nudge when it should be ready.
Upload & review
Drag the file in. Our rule engine flags likely-removable connections by segment, each with an honest confidence level. You bulk-select, keep, or remove.
Clean up with the checklist
Work through a guided list: open each profile in a new tab, click Remove on LinkedIn yourself, mark it done. Progress saves automatically so you can resume anytime.
Analysis engine
Honest detection, with confidence levels
LinkedIn's export has no activity data, so we never claim to know who's “inactive.” Instead, every flag is something the data can actually support, labeled with how sure we are.
- High confidence: retired titles, fully empty profiles, student-era titles from 5+ years ago, exact duplicates, your own keyword rules.
- Medium, worth a glance first: profiles missing their title or company, students at the 3–5 year mark, “open to work” titles from 4+ years ago, school-as-company profiles, old connections.
- Improves over time: re-upload a newer export and we detect who hasn't changed title or company since, the only honest inactivity signal your data allows.
Illustrative example.
Review checklist
A guided flow that keeps you moving
Each flagged connection is one row: who they are, why they were flagged, and a link that opens their LinkedIn profile in a new tab. You click Remove there, the way you always would, then mark it done here. Focus mode steps you through one profile at a time.
Progress saves in your browser automatically. Do 20 today and 100 next week; the list keeps your place. Export the final list as a CSV whenever you like.

The full stack
From cleanup to complete network intelligence
LinkedIn's export contains far more than your connections: messages, invitations, reactions, comments. Every engine below runs on that data, in your browser, and turns it into pipeline.
Tier 1 · The gold
Pipeline triggers
Job-change diff engine
Re-upload monthly and see who moved company, got promoted, or landed at a target account. The highest-converting outreach trigger in B2B, surfaced from your own data.
Never-messaged ICP finder
Cross-references your connections with your message history. You may have hundreds of ideal customers you've never sent a single message.
Relationship decay alerts
Valuable connections where the conversation went quiet 12+ months ago. Senior relationships go cold silently; nobody tracks this anywhere else.
New-in-role priority queue
People 0 to 90 days into a new job, scored by ICP fit. Your message-these-ten-this-week list, with the reason attached.
Tier 2 · Intelligence
Know your network
ICP scoring across the whole network
Define your target titles and industries; every connection gets scored. 30,000 rows become 800 buyers, 1,200 influencers, and the rest noise.
Account mapping
Cluster connections by company: you know 6 people at Stripe. Overlay a target account list for instant warm coverage analysis.
Seniority and function breakdown
What your network is actually made of: founders, C-suite, marketers, engineers. Most people genuinely have no idea.
Warm path finder
Pick a company you want into: who you know there, ranked by seniority and how warm the relationship still is.
Invitation intelligence
Sent invites that were never accepted (withdraw them; LinkedIn caps pending invites) and ignored received invites that match your ICP.
Tier 3 · Content and history
Mine what you already have
Engagement-to-relationship bridge
Who you engage with versus who you actually message. Liking their posts but never speaking is a warm list pretending to be a cold one.
Network era analysis
Connection date cohorts mapped to your career phases. Which era of your network matches your current ICP, and which is legacy noise.
Message intent mining
Everyone who ever said not right now, next quarter, or circle back. A revival pipeline sitting in your message history.
Congratulations queue
Promotions and work anniversaries from the diff, ready as low-effort touchpoints.

FAQ
The questions you should be asking
How do I remove LinkedIn connections quickly?+
LinkedIn has no bulk-remove button, so the fastest safe way to remove LinkedIn connections is: export your connections list from LinkedIn (free, takes a minute to request), upload it to ConnectionCleanup, review the flagged list, then work through the guided checklist. Each removal is one click on the profile plus one click to mark it done. Most people clear their whole review list in a single sitting.
Is this safe? Will LinkedIn ban me?+
Completely safe. The tools that get people banned are the ones that automate clicks on LinkedIn: bots, extensions, scripts. We do none of that. ConnectionCleanup never touches LinkedIn's site. It analyzes a file LinkedIn gives you, and every removal is you clicking LinkedIn's own button, exactly as you normally would. On top of that, built-in pacing guardrails (on by default, switchable off anytime) keep your manual browsing looking human: at most 5 profile tabs open at once, with a natural 10 to 15 second pause between profile opens.
Do you store my connections' data?+
No. Your file is analyzed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to our servers, ever. Your progress saves to your own device so you can resume later, and one click deletes it.
How do I get my LinkedIn connections list?+
LinkedIn gives every member a free export of their connections. It takes about a minute to request. After you sign up we show you exactly where to click, and we'll email you a nudge 24 hours later in case the file has landed while you were busy.
Is this just a cleanup tool?+
Cleanup is the entry point; the product is network intelligence. LinkedIn's export contains far more than connections (messages, invitations, reactions, comments), and the full stack turns it into pipeline: ICP scoring across your whole network, account mapping and warm path finding, a monthly job-change diff, a never-messaged ICP finder, relationship decay alerts, invitation intelligence, and message intent mining. All processed in your browser from data you already own.
Can you tell who's inactive on LinkedIn?+
Nobody can from an export. It contains no activity data, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we detect honestly: retired and incomplete profiles, student-era titles that are years old, job-seeker titles that never got updated, very old connections, duplicates, your own keyword rules, and (on a re-run) people whose job hasn't changed between exports. Every flag shows a confidence level.
Does it remove connections for me?+
You stay in control of every removal. We automate the finding and organizing; you do the removing, one click per person, with a checklist that keeps your place and a focus mode that steps you through. Your account stays yours, and your network only loses the people you chose.
What's your refund policy?+
30 days on every plan, as long as you haven't uploaded a connections list yet. Once you've run a scan, the analysis has done its job, so the fee is earned. Email support and we'll sort it.
